Healing is a Journey

Healing is a Journey •

1

Relief

Many patients consult with a chiropractor because they are in pain. In this first phase of care, the goal is pain relief and restoration of structure and function. Most of our patients will see a significant reduction in their symptoms but this is only the beginning of how chiropractic can benefit you.

Even though every case is different, treatment during this phase usually requires 1-6 weeks of care.

2

Stabilization

It is typical for the pain to start increasing again as a patient resumes their normal activities. This happens because the condition hasn’t fully stabilized yet. Even after your symptoms have faded, you must continue receiving care to avoid a rapid return of symptoms.

This stage of your treatment normally requires another 4–8 weeks of treatment including simple postural correction exercises.

3

Maintenance

Chiropractic is designed to optimize your health and prevent degeneration.  By integrating chiropractic care into your routine, you minimize aches and pains, improve the longevity of your joints, and engage in more activities you enjoy.

We see wellness patients approximately every 2-4 weeks. It is common to see wellness patients after unusual activities like traveling, camping, or remodeling a bathroom.
